Jason Van Horn is a former U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer turned financial advisor and Growth and Development Director at Northwestern Mutual. Over a distinguished 21-year military career, Jason advanced eight times—earning a reputation for leadership, discipline, and service. After retiring in 2021, he transitioned to financial services, where he leads one of the top-performing practices in his region.

Jason and his team have guided over 200 families and business owners through strategic planning, risk and tax mitigation, retirement strategies, and business solutions. His client-first mindset and mission-driven approach consistently place his practice among the region’s best.

In addition to his financial work, Jason co-manages four daycare centers with his sister, honoring the legacy of their late mother and continuing her impact on the community. He holds a master’s degree in project management from the University of Southern California and remains deeply committed to helping others grow—financially, personally, and professionally.

Jason married his wife, Patricia, in 2005 while stationed in Hawaii. Together they are raising three children, Tyler, Carter, and Kyleigh, who inspire his commitment to building a legacy of leadership, service, and purpose.
