Duane Griffin, widely known as Mr. Group Homes, is a seasoned expert in the residential care industry with over 13 years of hands-on experience operating various types of group homes. His work spans mental health facilities, sober living environments, and homes for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Duane’s servant leadership is displayed through his dedication to purpose & meaningful, hands-on service as he often volunteers at organizations such as the ACC Adaptive Sports Program ensuring the inclusivity in athletic programs for challenged individuals. Josiah’s house founded by Irene Jones. Duane serves as a sponsor & a volunteer as well as a MC for Josiah’s House Annual fashion show. You’ll find him not only donating but supporting healing, encouraging stability & independence.

He’s a proud Real Black Friday team member, supporting Larese Purnell as he uses his platform to champion Black-owned businesses by promoting economic empowerment in urban communities.

Duane is a true trailblazer whose unwavering commitment to service has made a lasting impact across the city. Although he’s affectionately known as “Debo” in his hometown of Warrensville Heights he’s also known for leading & having a big heart. He’s the visionary behind the beloved Annual Turkey Bowl and Toy Giveaway, hosted at his Alma Mater Warrensville hts. High school, two cornerstone events founded by Duane with the purpose of bringing families together while spreading joy and uplifting the community during the holiday season.

Recognizing the power of education and legacy, Duane founded the Momma G & Virgil Walker Scholarship Award, named after his high school football coach and mentor along with his mother Linda Griffin who has truly showed him what giving and service looks like every day in the household in which he was raised. While honoring them  both & investing in the next generation of leaders, wisdom & knowledge will always be in the forefront of Duane’s vision.

For the past 3.5 years, he’s served as a nationally recognized group home coach, empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and established providers alike to launch and scale sustainable group home businesses. His mission is to help others create time freedom and financial freedom by turning purpose-driven care into profitable enterprises.
